The Backup Manager in Sage Accounts v21 and above makes managing your backups simple. You can schedule backups to run automatically so you don't need to worry about it, and you can still work in Sage Accounts while your backups are running. You don't even need to have Sage Accounts open.
The scheduled backups are created on the computer where your data is held, so this computer should be left on for scheduled backups to work.
Once you've set up your backup schedule, you can manage your backups and check data results all in one place.
If you ever want to turn off scheduled backups, simply click File then click Scheduled back up and click Settings and select the Back up and check data off option.
